Tender for the Analysis on the Factors and Conditions in the Production of European Economic Research

Summary: The COEURE Coordination Action, funded by the European Commission’s FP7 SSH Programme, aims at evaluating European research in economics from the perspective of its contribution to key EU economic policy issues. In addition to coordinate the activities of COEURE, TSE is committed to contribute to COEURE on Work Package Two “Evaluating Mechanisms for Funding Economic Research in Europe.” In this perspective, TSE wishes to engage the services of an outside expert to carry out some of the tasks in this Work Package, as is foreseen in the Description of Work for COEURE and called as a “qualitative and bibliometric analysis.”

Tender for the Collection and Analysis of Information on Research Funding Agencies in Europe

Summary: The COEURE Coordination Action, funded by the European Commission’s FP7 SSH Programme, aims at evaluating European research in economics from the perspective of its contribution to key EU economic policy issues. CEPR’s main focus in COEURE is on Work Package Two, and the Centre wishes to engage the services of an outside expert to carry out some of the tasks in this Work Package. This Work Package focuses on research funding agencies in Europe, and analyses how research agendas are set; how priorities are decided; and what is the balance between top down and bottom up initiatives, between “academic” criteria and policy relevance/societal impact.

Call for Expressions of Interest: Surveys on economic policy issues

Summary: The COEURE Coordination Action, funded by the European Commission’s FP7 SSH Programme, aims at evaluating European research in economics from the perspective of its contribution to key EU economic policy issues. In order to achieve this objective, the COEURE Coordination Action is seeking to involve European or non-European scholars to write surveys on the research underpinnings of European economic policy.
This Call for Expressions of Interest concerns the implementation of these surveys. It explains the objectives and process by which COEURE’s Executive Committee will select the scholars (the Principal Investigators or PIs) in charge of the surveys.
